CRSB welcomes new Executive Director

Monica Hadarits, CRSB’s Certification & Programs Director assumes role of Executive Director

The Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef is pleased to announce the appointment of Monica Hadarits as Executive Director for the CRSB, effective December 1, 2018.

Monica started with the CRSB in 2015 as Community Engagement Manager, and moved into the role of Programs and Certification Director in 2017. She has spent the last two years leading the development of the Certified Sustainable Beef Framework and is honoured to be taking on the role of Executive Director.

Monica completed her Masters of Science degree at the University of Guelph and has focused her career on sustainable agriculture. She has family farm roots in Saskatchewan, experience working with rural communities across Canada, and international agriculture research experience in South America.

"I am committed to maintaining the CRSB’s leadership position in the global beef sustainability conversation, and look forward to working with CRSB members and stakeholders to continue expanding the CRSB’s reach and impact in its beef sustainability journey," says Hadarits.

"CRSB Council is pleased to welcome Monica in taking the reins as Executive Director of the CRSB.  She has been a dedicated team member for the past 3 years, and we look forward to working with her in this new leadership role", adds Anne Wasko, CRSB Council Chair.
